System Settings is where you’ll go to adjust device settings such as On/Off times, audio volume, WiFi settings, etc. Check out the video and bullet points below for an overview of System Settings.
Something to keep in mind is that there are two ways to access the System Settings menu:
- Click Media Systems in the top menu bar and select the Location of the device you’re wanting to update.
- Use the hover menu on the left-hand side of the screen to access a specific device’s Settings.
- System Status will identify your devices by the nickname you choose. It’s also where you’ll find the connection details (Signal, Heartbeat, Updated).
- The corresponding icon on the right-hand side of the screen will represent the device status.
- A green heart means the device is online.
- A yellow exclamation point signifies that the device recently went offline, but should be able to reconnect without further assistance.
- A red exclamation point indicates the device has been offline for more than two hours and is in need of attention.
- Below System Status, you’ll find four buttons.
- Clicking System will pull up options to Update Now, Reboot, Display Control Panel, and Screen Capture (a live view of a device’s display).
- Manage Content will open the device’s content page.
- From any PC or mobile device, click Preview Content to view a device’s content.
- System Information is where you’ll go to change a device’s nickname.
- Display Schedule is where you’ll enter store hours to automatically power devices on/off.
- From the Content Downloading section, you can control the amount of bandwidth system downloads occupy.
- Use the toggle in Audio/Video to turn content audio (if applicable) on/off and to adjust volume.
- You’ll manage your network connection in WiFi Settings.
- Use the blue plus sign icon to add a network, the red trash can to delete a network.
