Tips for Creating Effective Content
- The most effective length for customers to view and retain content is 5-30 seconds.
- Any text included in your content should be legible from 8-15 feet.
- Large and bolded text is easier to read from a distance.
Compatible File Formats
- Images: JPEG, PNG
- Videos: 3G2, 3PG, ASF, AVI, M2TS, M4V, MKV, MOV, MP4, MPEG, MTS, MXF, Ogg, OGV, TS, WebM, WMV
Optimal Resolution
- Optimal resolution for full screen ads is 1920x1080 (at a 16:9 aspect ratio).
- Images and videos will be viewed in high-definition on 42’’ and 46’’ monitors.
- For videos created in PowerPoint, ensure slide orientation is set to Landscape (Width - 13.33, Height - 7.5).
- We recommend saving video files in MP4 format.
- For best results, MP4 files should be H.264 encoded.
Saving Images to Your Computer
To save an image as a JPEG:
- With the image open in Adobe Photoshop, MS Paint, MS Word, or PowerPoint, click File, then Save As.
- In the Format or Save as dropdown, select JPEG or JPG.
- Click Save.
To save an image as a PNG:
- With the image open in Adobe Photoshop, MS Paint, MS Word, or PowerPoint, click File, then Save As.
- In the Format or Save as dropdown, select PNG.
- Click Save.

Uploading Content
To upload your images or videos from your computer for display:
- Login to Spectrio.
- Open the My Library tab.
- Click Upload New Content.
- Follow the prompts and choose the file you’d like to upload.
- Select a file type, then click Upload.
To upload videos from a YouTube account for display:
- Login to Spectrio.
- Open the My Library tab.
- Click Upload from YouTube.
- Enter the URL of the YouTube video you’d like to display.
- Click Save.
Note: It may take up to 24 hours before this video can be previewed or used for display.
